Who should I get my LCAs from? SRR, Function7 or SPC???
I know for a fact that I should NOT get the megan racing LCAs that sell on ebay all day long, as I hear the bushings give out pretty quick, followed by the control arm itself dying shortly thereafter.
I am looking into the Function7 LCAs, as they are made out of 7075, which to my knowledge, is pretty damn strong....
The flipside is I can get SRR LCAs for $170, or $208 for the Function7s, but I am willing to spend the money on the better set, so to all you fellow Honda-Techers, opinion? References? Help Me Please...Thanks.
PS...I stomped an 04 SRT-4 last night with my single cam...3rd gear roll, pulled him 1½ cars by mid 4th...felt goooood!!!!

if you want to wait a long *** time get the function 7 ones.
i wanted to get the function 7 ones over the summer because my lower control arm broke but i had to wait 3 weeks.
wasnt about to wait that long so i got srr ones and i love them very strong and beefy

Yeah, but some guy on ebay has the function7s ready to ship, and the only downside I see with the SRR is they are purple...purple really isn't that cool to me, but if they are better than The function7s, I'll get em.

do NOT get function 7... you will go through hell getting them. they are manufactured by hybrid garage who has more than enough bad reports from the BBB, even ones they haven't replied to. since they manu. them, nobody else will sell them.
i have megan racing lca's on my car right now, they're exactly the same specs as stock for dimensions/measurements, only lighter and blingin. i'm almost 100% sure SRR's LCA's are a couple MM's shorter to help adjust camber for different offset wheels/brake setups.

Actually, I've always heard the opposite. SRR are oem length and Megan are the ones that are shorter.

I don't care what retailers say--someone should measure to find out the real scoop.
No, I don't have either (at this time), but from someone who measured, that's what I was told. I'm waiting on a firm answer from someone before I buy a set, however.

woops, just noticed that i put a thumbup instead of a winkin face... what i said was meant to be a smart assed comment with no real stab at your person. the wink was to signify humor, not complete arrogance on my behalf. lol, my bad. but i know for a fact the megan LCA's on my car are factory length. now if megan makes more then one length, i cannot confirm... but i'm almost positive they only have one length.

can anyone tell me the benefits of aftermarket LCA's.........and don't say camber because a) it can be fixed easier (washers) b) camber is not as detremental as toe c) some camber is better for handling. im curious if these are actually functional or just bling blao
