Default Who puts together a half decent turbo kit?

I've just been looking around for a decent turbo kit for a D16Y8, and have found a ton of sites that have kits put together for them. I'm looking for something reliable (no ebay crap) for a daily driver that would be running under 10 psi of boost. Something that comes with pretty much everything (injectors, oil lines, etc) except an ECU would be preferable.

Any recommendations would be awesome.

What does 10PSI of boost mean when you don't even know what turbo you're running? Where do you people get this stuff?
Try Greddy. Edelbrock. GoAutoworks.
Then go to the Forced Induction section and read the FAQs three times.

He's saying 10 psi doesn't mean anything when you don't know what turbo your using. 10 psi on one turbo is different the 10 psi on another turbo

Garrett t3 doesn't tell us anything either. If you want turbo recommendations you better give us more info, goals,budget,etc..

once you buy a kit you still need to get injectors for your power goal and a ecu/tune. you havent mentioned a power goal or budget yet. also you need to think about what condition you motor is in now.

OK sure, my main goal is reliability, which takes most precedence in this case, power I would like to be more then 200 hp at the crank, but I'm not expecting a lot, price I would like to keep less then 2k, but the less the better (as always) The bottom end of the motor has 127k km on it now. the top end I just rebuilt and ported less then 200 km ago

do some research and see if you can pick up a used turbo and then piece together a kit. with 2K you fairly limited.

+1

goto the marketplace and see if someone is selling one.. 2k is a going rate for a kit if its decent one.. tuning and ecu mods will cost another 300-500

Then i would get the go-autoworks street kit

http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/gostkit.html

Edit: to save your engine, you must do the oil porting to prevent starvation if you go to or past 200hp.
Ive seen alot of Y8's blow cuz of this. Rod bolts should be considered as well.

Might as well just do it cuz once the power gets ahold of ur ***, you'll want more boost. Happens to us all.
