Default Who here has rolled their own fenders? Also tire size questions?

Ive read a bunch of threads here on fender rolling (not many at all with pics), and am thinking about going for it (wood handled broom/bat method).

So heres my situation:

I have an EH3, and its always been dumped on 14x6.5, +42 panasports. I had to run a 185/60 tire, because 196/60 would always rub.
So, now I have a new set of 15x6.5", +40 Black Racing wheels, on 205/50 Azenis's (came with them)... and they rub pretty bad.
As a side note..
Ive long since removed the rear fender trim, and trimmed the front splash guards.

Id like to stay with with the 205's, but will change to 195's if needed. Also, if I did go with the 195's AND it gave me a lot more clearance, Ill still probably roll my front fenders and just leave the back alone.

So does anybody have some advice, and if you had some Honda rolled fender pics, that would be even better.

TIA.

i rolled two of mine (just the rears) but it ended up taking too damn long per fender, so i just took a rubber mallet to them and made sure to use primer over the area where any paint chipped off.

i'm running 205/45 on a 16in rim. my car is dumped and i get a decent amount of rubbing in the front (where i didn't roll the fenders) only when doing tight turns at speeds faster than 10mph. going up tall driveways is a bitch, as well, because the i have to make sure the tires are dead straight, otherwise i get some nasty sheetmetal squeaking noises.

if i can get some pics, i'll try to post 'em up.

btw, do a search here for 'roll fenders' or 'rolling fenders' and you can find a decent amount of threads with pics. there are even special tools you can rent/buy to do this. also, make sure to use a heat gun so the metal is slightly more pliable than if cold. gl.

not worth it, you'll sacrifice paint quality in the future meaning it will peel or chip off.
RUn 195/50/15
and sell the 205

I rolled my rear fenders with an old wooden table leg. My rear tires are just barely tucking and I never rub. I've had it this way with 205/40/17 kumho mx tires w/ +45 offset wheel and 205/50/15 dunlop direzza tires w/ +40 offset wheel. However, the old Azenis are faily wider than most tires so that could be a reason why your rubbing soo bad. Good luck fella.

Heres mine, I rolled the fenders with a wooden bat (it is one I made in woodshop way back) But I've been on both the new and old azenis, and they really only rub under full lock turning at the current height.
