Who bought a 99 Si in pittsburgh, PA
I' m looking for whoever bought my 99 Si from a dealer in pittsburg. I'd like to give them some info on the mods, minor motor internal, and extensive tranny work(there's reasons it's that quick with "minor" mods ) I have a lot of parts for it that I didn't give to the dealer, but will ship to the new owner. I also have all receipts/papers since I bought it new. I'd hate to have the new new owner swap out parts to go slower because they don't know what they have.

In the event this is legit, nice guy.
It might be difficult to narrow it down without more details, but I suppose it'd be better for the new owner to describe it or visa versa, in private.
BUMP.

It's legit! The car was my baby since it was new, hope it went to a good home! My CRV had some "issues" that went went with the high miles, and the Si was unreasonable for a DD. It could use some work that I don,t have the time or money for( I'm a 30+ married homeowner) I traded them in on a Mugen. Anyway... keep yours eyes and ears open, I won't hold onto the parts/info forever.

Why is an Si unreasonable for a daily driver?
Unless it's all highway commute every day an Si is a perfect daily driver.

His old Si is modified. He mentioned it being quicker than stock, so the gas mileage might have not be prime for a daily driver Civic.

Re: Who bought a 99 Si in pittsburgh, PA (HondamanXxX)
It was unreasonable as a DD because I drive 40-130 miles one way for work and need to transport tools. The car had ( just to name a few) neuspeed coilovers and front/rear upper/lower tie bars, progress sway bars, Azenis rubber, roll bar, sparcos, five points, racing medallion exhaust, enery suspension bushings. ATS 4.9 final drive with Quaife, ACT street strip disk w/extreme pressure plate on a cluthmasters flywheel, electric water pump. ETC..... you get the point. Not the stuff tool hauling long trips are made of. Definately the stuff winding, hill covered back roads are made of! If I don't find him soon I'll post the parts for sale. If the new owner reads this sorry the seats, belts, roll bar is gone. I got an offer I couldn't refuse.

The dealership forwarding a letter to the new owner would not allow the OP to directly contact the new owner.
Had he wanted to steal the car, he could have when it was at the lot.

And they can do that with any car, not just this one. Usually you need proof of ownership and a photo ID. It's the dealership's fault if their worker is allowing people to buy keys without ID and proof of ownership. This isn't a new idea.
