Hey I never heard of these. Where can you get them, looked at AT and Ebay, but
I didn't have any luck finding them. Sorry to keep this already answered thread
going but just wanted to know about those certain Sylvania's.

I've bought Hella bulbs from Susquehanna Motorsporst and used them in my Toyota
http://www.rallylights.com/hella/H4.asp
I used these
HL78159 Bulb H4 Bulb, 12V, 100/80W
they are $7.84 each
They are a lot brighter than stock, but not white. They are supposed to be for off road only.

For the money HID's are a waste. Money is better spent on performance upgrades, not being able to say that you have HID in a civic...IMO...btw, I have Silverstars.

Re: Whitest and brightest? (dantastic)
Funny I have the Muccolch kit too..how long have you had yours...???
but anyways...
want bright headlights but not with the HID prices:
try
http://www.powerbulbs.com
they have the euro spec version of Silverstars, apparently euro specs are brighter than US standards

Re: Whitest and brightest? (dantastic)
left car has mismatched blubs
driver side = piaa (100w)
pass side = razo (100w)
(like that because I got um from people who blew out one side)
but they seem similiar
the cars on the right both have silverstars
I'd say the piaa razo combo is the whitest haha. the piaa blubs are anywhere from $60-$100 and the razo are $60 but the piaa come in even higher wattages like 135w maybe brighter I dunno? they light up the streets pretty well but at some very dark places the light is a little bluish (didn't really care for that) I think silver star or stock is the best

True, they are brighter but ther are not as white. They should be about the same as the xtravision's.

The brightest lights i've used are the RAZO and PIA's... way brighter than Sylvannia Silverstars. They burn at 4000K-6000k! But you'll get a freaking ticket!
The bulbs will also burn your harnesses and headlamps if your car is not equipt to handle them...

I Think we are talking about 55Watt bulbs.
Plus 100Watt stock bulbs will be brighter than 100watt RAZO or PIAA's

hahahahahaha... I used to think like you until I got my GS400.
Halogens suck ***. After driving a HID equipped car, you would hate driving a halogen equipped one.

Halogens don't suck. That's like saying - Eg's suck. After driving a NSX, you would hate driving a civic.
