When I put my car into reverse the lights flicker on and off. I found a wire that connects to the tranny is just above the tranny that needs to be replaced. When I move it around my reverse lights stll flicker but stay lit more constant. I'm sure now it's just a faulty wire. I checked the local autostore for the name of the wire but they didnt' know what I was talking about. I looked for a Helms and Haynes manual but the store only carried Accords.

FIY I replaced the bulbs already and checked the wire connections for the rear lights. There is a picture below of the wire I am talking about. Any help is appreciated. If it matters at all its a d16z6 motor. (In desperate need of Simple Green cleaner )

That's the wiring to the reverse sensor in your transmission. You could always try following the wires down, removing the reverse sensor and then reinstalling it to see if that helps.

The plug going to the trans is probly just loose or coming out.

I had the same thing happen to mine and eventually the reverese sensor died.

I had to replace the switch...
