About $800-1000 bucks for a good nitrous setup with all the goodies.

im going to hell haha.

z6 power lies within turbo. for about 5 grand you can be pushing 300whp with the traction to back it up.

ive seen the vids of it. 80-100 acceleration is nuts and iVtec sounds like crazy fun. upgrade those pistons & rods and slap a turbo on and show them dumbestics whats up heh.

Back ON TOPIC...

with P29 pistons, port and polished head, and a race cam...tuned you can probably get about 160WHP or so out of a D.

With a turbo kit, about 10 psi on stock internals 200WHP should be easily attained. When you sleeve the motor, rods pistons and run 15+ lbs you should be able to get in the 250-300 range

You should be able to get in the 140-150whp range with regular bolt ons, i/h/e, intake manifold, ported head and a good cam. If you build the bottom end w/high compression pistons, you can potentially be in the 160whp range.

One advantage of going this route is that once you are done building the engine, you essentially end up with a fresh engine.

High Compression (12:1 pistons) + High Flow (P&P head, cam) = D series power y0!

all motor ,my setup
used to make 138hp with:my best time was 15.1@92mph but that was with a smoking clutch

head milled .060
crower cam stage 2
cai/h/e
no air ,no power sterring
racing crank pulley
skunk cam gear

now i am hoping to be in the 155 hp zone with:
a stock z6 head, no mill on this one
cai/h(bisimoto header soon )/e
the same cam, with a skunk cam gear
zc pistons
skunk 2 im.
act presurre plate and clutch
lightened flywheel
bosh spark plugs

if you get a bigger bore, and go to a 1.7l you'd have more torque to go w/ that hp.

I was reading what somebody in this post had written earlier and it sparked my attention. So if I remember correctly someone had said that the d16 TB is 58mm and the b16 TB is 60mm. Eventually I will upgrade other engine components but I was wondering (since K,D,& B series TB's are interchangeable) which motor had the largest TB that would bolt up to my D16z6? And if I were to upgrade my fuel setup from stock what is a good recommendation.

Thank you.

d16 tb is 56mm. Your stock fuel system is fine. No need to upgrade it unless you are going turbo or nitrous. The ITR (62mm) is the biggest stock TB, but bigger isn't always better.

wow, you assumed that he is a ricer from all that

good job..... next time answer the question and/or STFU

Start with intake, header, and exhaust.... but personally i wouldn't touch the engine until you have a fairly decent suspension set-up

How the hell did I miss that!?!?!?

Must have gotten distracted by listing the OEM pistons as a mod.

Spark Plugs + Honda = NGK or Denso if need be. but NEVER BOSCH
