Where to install A/F gauge
I'm looking to install an air/fuel gauge in my eg tomorrow but don't really care to much for the look of pillars. Anybody got any ideas where I could put it instead of a pillar. I was thinking about behind the shiftknob in the part where it slants down a little to meet the back part of the center console, but wasn't sure if it would flush mount. Any other ideas are welcomed. Thanks in advance. And by the way I did a search on this but didn't come up w/anything.
-Last but not least, splice the purple wire with the white wire from the ecu, ground the black wire, and red goes where again?

Re: Where to install A/F gauge (Infamous_Imports)
here's two great ideas i have done...
since i don't have a/c i removed the center vents (right of clock) and fabricated a template out of marlite (1/4" thick ABS plastic) with two 2 1/16" hole cutouts...
glue them onto the stock trim piece and spray paint.....or
use a 2" hole saw and cut out the square piece (power mirror control location underneath the instrument cluster dimmer switch)....low key fabrication is way more unique than the "usual" gauge pods on the window pillar...plus it's cheaper...
FOR MORE ACCURATE READINGS:
purple ------ white wire @ O2 sensor
black ------ ground (dimmer switch)
red ------ any 12V DC accesory (ignition controlled)

Re: Where to install A/F gauge (NVturbo)
I cut a hold in my dash that was smaller than the diameter of the A/F gauge. I then filed the hole until the gauge perfectly seated in. I then angled the gauge so I can view from drivers seat. I hid the wires behind the firewall and connected to D14 signal ECU harness. It looks good.

Purple - D14 white/ or white green.
Red - 15 amp power source, any constant fuse will work.
Black - Ground.
