where is the ignitor. how do you check it and replace it
i have a buddy with a b16 swap in his 97 lx 4 door. he's using a obd2 dizzy, he's getting a code 15 and his car wont start. I read through all 20 or so threads and i see that it might be the ignitor. How do you check if the ignitor is bad..also how do you replace it. Cost? Thanks

There is a 2P plug to the dist. find it and make sure its getting power.
Best way to see if the dist. is good or bad is to open up the cap and look at the ignitor (its the piece with something sticking out and a spring inside) Pull that sucker out and see if its burned or if it smells. If it does time to replace it.
