Default Where to get good fenders

I bought an aftermarket tailgate for a 1981 F-100 that I was restoring to a respectable driving condition. The sheet metal was so thin that I put a dent below the latch with my thumb after opening it a few times. Most aftermarket body parts are as thin as beer cans. Don't want that.

I need a new right front fender for a 98 Civic EX coupe. I would appreciate recommendations made with firsthand knowledge.

Used OEM is the obvious choice, but online ordering delivered to your door is much easier than junk yard diving.

Thanks.

You know truthfully, I was all about oem quality. But man my 2000 civic has seen some days. Now I just go junkyard hopping or look at aftermarket brands

car-part.com, enter your zip, year, and which side you need. find a part graded "a", indicates zero hours of body work needed, which means mint condition oem used.

Where are you located? If it's So Cal around the San Gabriel valley try the junk yards on alpha st in irwindale. You call them and they pull the parts for you.

majestic.com is another good place, I'm about to try ebhparts.com

Oh I found some fenders on the internet alright. Amazon. Ebay. How do I know those aren't tin cans, too? I wish they would list the gauge of the sheet metal used. But they don't.

So, that's why I'm asking for personal, first hand recommendations.

i'm going to imagine that most of the suggestions you get will obviously be... well... junkyards of course, other than that quality is up in the air for any aftermarket fenders you invest in and OEM can be pricey but will be guaranteed fit and quality

Has no one heard of BKHondaparts? Hands down the place to go. Got all new OEM sensors from them. Their prices are the lowest, too, I know because I checked what other people priced the parts at. Check it out

Thank you for that website. Found what I need, and it'll be delivered to my door.

That's a good website, too. I ordered a fender from the Honda dealership for my wife's 2000 Odyssey a few years ago. Even though it came in a box marked "Honda", it was made from noticeably thinner sheet metal than what was on the car originally. I was very disappointed with it. It was like a J.C. Whitney fender. I wonder if Honda just rebrands parts made by aftermarket suppliers for older cars.

Craigslist and the Junkyard.

Well, that simply is not the case here in Sunny Florida. The Junkyard LQK ships to your door if you want. We have rust free panels. Some are dent free when you can find them. Give them a call.

Or if you are willing to pay, I could keep an eye peeled for what you need.

Man no way....pretty sure all my sensors were real, all the aftermarket I've seen have off coloring. But man, I needed to order a new rear bumper, but even though it's not metal, maybe it's lower quality?!
