Where to get engine code reader????
I got one from Snap-On for $4000, you can go to autozone and have them check it for free. If you just need codes, get it checked for free, if you need the scanner for other reasons, don't get the cheapo kind, they suck.

Yup got the code... P0700 and P0730 - transmission failure and improper gear ratio or some BS like that
.... guess I'll have to take it to a tranny shop.. The car acts weird when I accelerate from a stop or accelerate when its changing gears... basically it hops sorta like if you are learning to drive a stick and arent working the gears right...

I have some software called AutoEngenuity on my laptop that connects though the OBDII port and a USB cable. Cost me like 220 or so. I love it. Not only does it read codes, but it also allows ou to datalog each of your sensors and watch them in realtime with a laptop.
I just bought this one too dood for the palm pilot... it also dyno's your car, does 1/4 mile, 1/8, HP, RPM.. etc.. this fall they are supposed to be releasing some software ware that can alter the ECU through OBD2.. not sure how, but interesting
