Where to find all Ground Wires on a 92-95 Civic?
Well, as some of you know im having wiring issues with my 92 civic Cx. After doing a complete teardown (dash, motor, carpet EVERYTHING) for paint..im now having problems with starting it up, weird syptoms from the gauges, buzzing noises from the heater blower etc. Anyhow..i think ive narrowed it down to grounding issues..cause the car ran PERFECT ..before the teardown ..so It must be something I hooked up wrong.
Do any of you guys know or have pics ...of where all the ground wires are on a 92-95 civic... especially the ones under the dash or in the interior.
Thanks again for ANY help you can provide

not familiar w/ interior, but engine bay ones are:
the obvious: From battery terminal to chassis.
From Chassis to Valve cover
From Chassis to Tranny (on the bracket)
hmm.... I think that is all.
that picture is out of context.

Valve cover?? Why would there be a ground to the valve cover on a sohc head?? Its completely isolated by rubber from the rest of the engine

What would the difference be from SOHC and DOHC? A DOHC valve cover is isolated by rubber as well. There is no metal contact from teh valve cover to the head.

The difference is I know nothing about DOHC motors, so I would not make any statement that I knew nothing about

Oh... Well I would assume that NO valve covers would come in direct contact with the head as that would allow oil to leak. I have the ground from my core support bolted to my head, but the stock location is the valve cover.

The pic you posted is of a RHD EF. How does that help him since he has a 92 CX.

I think they do the valve cover because it's isolated from the rest of the engine and as we all know kids static electricity/arcing is bad
