where do i set my valve gap at?

where do i set my valve gap at?
intake is .17 - .22
exhaust is .22 - .27
should i just set them somewhere in the middle or what?
i have an 88 crx si cam in my 93 dx hatchie.

where did you get that info from? i called machine shop and they looked it up and
they told me the specs are what i had listed in the previous post. when i had the
gap like at .008, my car idle like ****. it seemed like it wanted to turn off. i gapped
them way too much now, in which i will correct it this weekend, but now my car
doesn't idle like **** anymore. did it idle bad because of the cam or what? it felt like
my car wanted to turn off, but it didn't.

got it from the Factory Service Manual
and we are BOTH correct.
Your numbers are in mm (which you failed to state) and mine are in inches which if you look closely.............
Also make sure engine is COLD when setting the lash.

i set the intake at .020mm and the exhaust at .025 and now i can hear the
valves. i guess i need to tighten them a little. my car doesn't idle like **** though
anymore. i will tighten them this weekend.
