Painting you own wheels do not give the good quality of power coating. Professionals do charge about 50 per wheel.
Pick a paint color you want, clean the wheel very well, the use index cards to separate the wheel and tire. Paint away and add many coats. Good luck.
Use search for how to's...

I just sent some rims out last weekend to Advanced Posdercoating in summner. They first quated me 175-200 for sandblasting, prep, and powdercoating. When I dropped them off the total ended up being $40.00 per rim so it was pretty cheap. They have many different colors to choose from. There number is (253) 891-0389

Thanks! Now what do you think, should I have black with a polished lip or gunmetal with a polished lip or go without a polished lip?

i have customers of mine that are in the powder coating business (california) but i've seen some pretty cool powder coating colors. ex. black with colored flakes and so on. some pretty crazy stuff. usually get whatever you want just a matter of knowing what you want.
