as of recent, it seems like everyone is jumping on the hate band wagon. tom has been cool enough to let everyone get away witha pic thread of their car every 6months or so, but it seems as of recent you guys seem to find a way to bash the guy, rather than compliment it. not everyone races, that why this is a ciivc forum, otherwise we would all be posting in the RR or drag racing forum. so can we get over the fact that some guys have more money than others and dont mind spending it on jdm blong or anything else? just seems like ***** envy or something latly. opinions?

i havent been here that long but i havent seen anything worth posting this about. the level of flaming is what i love about this site.

The cars all look the same on this site anyway (Mine included). Also certain setups get more "airplay" then others. so anything out side the norm gets bashed naturally.

Its the internet, not life so...........

very true.... but u guys gotta admit sometime people do stupid stuff. for example: they never use the Search feature. I have myself seen over 10 threads about GSR brakes into EG's, and mad flamming going on.... but i wont dispute that some people just straight up need to relax with their flamming.

yeah people should use the search feature more but it doesn't help when about ten people start posting loads of abuse saying search newb etc... it just means that a lot of threads end up half bashing half tech..

I really try not to pass judgment on any one or anything; you do what you can to your car with the resources that you have. I commend all of you for you hard work, individuality and creativity. Yes there is allot of bashing that happens, but that's what happens in life, weather it be envy, hate or just plain bad taste, someone somewhere always has a smart *** comment. Really my out look on life when people talk **** (including the bashing on this board) is, what people say is a reflection of who they are. With that being said, don't let there negative outlook on life effect the way you conduct yourself and treat people....if you like it, that's good enough for me
