When buying a new car or bought? What should..
Should I take it to a shop and have them look it over completely to make sure everything is running in good/perfect order before I start dd'ing the car? That was probably something I should've done before hand, but I jumped the gun a little bit and hopefully it didn't bite me in the ***..
Anyways, would you all recommend in doing so?

Do what you can yourself.
How does the engine run? Any CEL codes?
Start by doing and ignition system tune up and replacing the engine and transmission oil.
Do you see any oil leaks from the engine? If so, pinpoint and fix.
Any obvious problems in the engine bay?

the car actually runs pretty strong from what I can tell....I drove it well over 5 hours last night and no hiccups *knock on wood*
I'm going to check again when I walk outside to drive down to the nearest autozone, but I didn't see any leaks so far.
I was looking at some of the stickies and was wondering what would be the best product to put in the car in terms of spark plugs, oil, fuel filter, ect..
the stickies seemed kinda old, but for the oil it said using standard honda factory oil? I was going to go synthetic if I could....but wanted to make sure.
and for a air intake, it has one now, but the filter looks like it could need replaced, any certain one that's recommended? I saw everybody seems to be running a vstack w/a cone filter?

I just realized and should've put this in my other post but would it be a good idea to buy a haines manual of some sort even though the car has a b16a swap? would it still be beneficial?
