Wheel size and AEM?

Wheel size and AEM?
00 si, Aem big brake kit, stock caliper. They say i have to run a 16" wheel, but they (AEM) also said it was 100% bolt on, then look in the directions and it says some grinding of the caliper mount may be nessesary 
. Anyone get any smaller then 16" on this setup? I will be running slicks next year on this car and i'm not so sure about 16" slicks.
Any info is great.
