I was changing my breaks the other day and when i went to put the wheel back on i noticed that the wheel was able to move from left to right like if when you havent put on the lug nuts yet... any idea of what it may be??

it happened to my EG and it turned out the outer tie rod end bushing shot..so check your tie rod..ball joint (if there is any leaking) and tight your axle that connects to wheel hub

if you have the wheel on and torqued down and you move the wheel left to right and its loose, then its a tie rod. move it top to bottom and its loose then its wheel bearing

Not correct. If the wheel moves up and down its a ball joint. A bad wheel bearing will howl when you drive, and you can pull the wheel in and out a little if its really gone, but you'll definately hear it at that point.
