Wheel Hop when letting cluctch out at 1k RPM
I've been meaning to ask this for awhile. My car gets wheel hop sometimes...mostly when it's colder out...when letting the clutch out to take off normal from a light or stop sign. It's not consistant, it just happens sometimes. The car has a farely new clutch (10k miles). This was happening on my stealth too after I got a new clucth put in it also. Is the friction disk chattering? or am I really gettin wheel hop at 1k RPM? If I accelerate while it's hopping...the car hops even harder. Anyone have this happen to them?
Oh yeah...and this was happening before I dropped my car...so I'm pretty sure it's not suspension related...though it still might be.

The cold has alot to do with it, tires are stiffer in the cold, they do not adhere well in the cold. You could also always get wider, and softer compound tires.
