it depends on the model? if the coupe is an ex, then no. but if not then yes.

ex/si, have larger brakes. the tranny has nothing to do with it.

If you have the year, model, & trim level of each, you could go to any number of online dealer websites and compare part#s between the two cars. If the part#s are the same then they're 100% interchangeable.

If they're not the same, they still may be swappable - you need to reply with which two cars you're looking at so someone with more knowledge than me can share their wisdom.

yeah i would def. go with a new one. and yes, you need some sort of press to do a wheel bearing. you need to press the old hub out, which will more than likely take half of the bearing with it. then you need to press the other half of the bearing out. its just not worth the extra effort, and it would probably be pointless. just go for the new one.

i wouldn't just take the used wheel bearing, not worth it. but if you take the spindle then cool. just makes sure you take both front spindles, being that the dx has a smaller spindle than the ex, due to it's smaller brakes.

hate for you to have 9" rotor on one side and a 10" rotor on the other.

yeah my sister has a 99 si and both front wheel bearings are gone, well that is until i did the right one. but the left one is still shot, its just a pretty common problem when you start putting some mileage on your car.

i only had time to do one. but yeah, you might want to get both, because normally when one goes the other is not far behind.

im gald to hear that his auto tranny axles had nothing to do with the spindle. im sure i wont regret it. i just put a greddy turbo kit d16z6 in the car and the brakes were something i really wanted to upgrade. im emailing the seller right now.
