Whats the ULTIMATE ls/vtec combo.. Also turbo questions
Im building an ls/vtec/turbo for my 93 ex, i have a few questions. Out of all the ls blocks, which is the best to get? Im going to do Arp studs and stuff, what else would be a good idea to get for the bottom end, which pistons are the best to get? Do honda pistons take alot of wear, or would i be able to get away with a set of used pistons? I Have many spare t3's, intercoolers, piping, and tons of spare turbo parts from my 2.3litre ford turbo buildups, i want to adapt alot of this to my civic. Which head is the best for the swap? I heard the b16 head is the way to go, Which intake manifold, and which computer will i have to switch to? Also what tranny is the best to use, i want to get lsd with w-e i get. Also this is going to be a daily driver so i want it to be reliable.

B20 block because it's more displacement (2.0 instead of 1.8) and it has lower compression pistons. I wouldn't go with used pistons. Spend the extra money because if you want to up your boost you will definitely need them. B16 head is the way to go because it's cheaper compared to type r. I would go with skunks2 intake manifold or JG. And I would use LS Tranny because it's better for your turbo to spool.
