whats the trick to taking off the e-brake handle in EG??

pulling it is the trick. it`s hard though but it`s like that...

guess i will try pulling it harder... feels like the entire handle assembly is about ready to tear out!

ok i tried again and i am failing to beleive that it just pulls off! maybe im a huge *****

I used wd-40 and pulled it off....mine was rusted on!

No, you don't; I hammered mine off w/ two hammers. Worked in about 30 seconds and five hard whacks.
