Re: (Pioneer162)
get a WBo2 sensor. I have a TechEdge DIY. It works good. Some can get pretty pricey though. The DIY isn't too bad, except you have to know how to solder and have a good understanding of electronics and IC chips.

Techedge had a kind of a DIY kit, but honestly, for the 300 dollars I paid for mine, it's worth it. The time, effort and hassle it was going to be for me to build one myself wasn't worth it IMO.

If you just want a one time AFR reading, there are two easy places to get it. One, a smog pretest. This will give you all the information you need and then some. Two, a dyno.
Talk about a mod abusing his "power". Is saving face part of his duties? Or was he just being sarcastic? Oh well ban me or put "pwned" by my screen name again.

Or you can go with the Tech Edge. Which I would choose. But it's up to you. Around the same prices. Unless you get a DIY. Then you save quite a bit of money, which is what I opted for. But you have to have a pretty strong background in electronics. IMO the Tech Edge is a better value, and the customer support I've received has been exceptional.

If you want to convert from their Australian currency to the Mother Nation's.
Use this guy http://pages.ebay.ca/services/...html
Also, personally I don't have the display and don't plan on buying one, but I've heard numerous people who liked theirs. I just use their free software to view it on my computer or run it through Uberdata. Also(in my 2A0) you have 3 user inputs/RPM/3 thermo couples/...AND on-board logging(which I don't really use), where as the PLX does not have any just NB out and WB out. Or you can opt for the 2E0 which is just as good. I wouldn't let the small price comparisons fool you as well. I haven't used a PLX but it looks simple and easy to use. Where the TE may be a touch harder, but you also get a better and more well rounded unit with quite possibly better resolution(12bit). I couldn't find what the PLX's was on their site. Just pay close attention to detail. Also the guy who made the TE had a write up discussing the Innovative WB which didn't really sound like it offered as much. If you would I like I could try to find it if you like hearing comparisons.
Here's the PLX... click the 'M series'/'controllers'.

If you like things a little easier. Maybe go for a PLX. If you don't mind thinking a little more(because you have more features to think know about) then go with the TE. One last thing. I don't think PLX offers any software to datalog, I could be wrong. But that is pretty helpful to me when tuning.
Don't just go by what me or anyone else says. Pick the one you like.
