Default Whats going on with my 5 lug brakes?

I got around installing a US Type R 5 lug conversion on my EK. I also swapped out for the 99-00 Civic Si prop valve, brake booster, and master cylinder. I have bleed the brakes 3 times now, once every weekend and the problem im having is my brake pedal is stiff as a rock. It goes only about half way and becomes hard as a rock. The brakes still work but I cannot stop suddenly. I can only brake slowly. When i push the brake pedal to the bottom to where I cannot push anymore when it becomes rock hard, the car slowly slows down. Whats going on and have anyone ever experience this or know how to fix the problem?

I have a 5lug on both my EK's i just put them on with braided lines , you dont need to replace all that stuff like the master cyl and pro. valve, i dont kno why your having that problem though, thats wierd.

this is stupid, but you do have the booster hooked up to the manifold? and the check valve is in correctly? sounds like you have no power assist. swap out the boosted back to stock and try that. you may have a ripped diaphragm in the booster.

I have everything plugged up. The stock booster and MC, prop will work wtih 4 wheel disk? I thought a bigger mc will have the brakes working better.

A bigger master cylinder needs higher pedal effort to stop. But in turn creates more braking power. Double check that the spring clip on your brake pedal arm is installed into the brake booster properly, might be hitting something to cause it to stop. Another suggestion and this might sound stupid is pull the ebrake a bunch of times, this should bring the rear brake cylinders and pads into the rotor. The last thing to try is check the brake booster. Hayes manuals have a good right up on how to do this without removing anything. That would help you rule it out.

My brakes felt too mushy after the ITR brakes/mc/booster were installed. The mechanic told me to drive it for a couple weeks and the mushiness will go away and it did. I guess that the new parts have to break in.

Try driving for a couple of weeks and see if your brake pedal feel improves.

the bb is the same in all eks. should of just to the Si mc and prop valve and ur good to go.
