Yes, heat gun from the outside, and peel the hot tint very slowly and carefully, as not to leave any glue on the window.
Take your time with this, the patience pays off. It's easier to peel slowly with no leftover glue than to peel fast and then spend another 45 minutes scrubbing the glue off with goo-gone and razor blades.

PS - that is my approach, and it's easiest for me.
A lot of tint shops will take black garbage bags, spray some ammonia on them, apply it to the inside of the window, let the car sit in the sun for an hour or two, and then peel it.
This works, but they do this to just to make the process longer and appear more tedious so they can charge more $$.
