whats better citr or itr trannys or are they the same ?
whats better ? i got a itr trans 4.4 final in it jdm. was wondering if a ctr trans is better.. or if they are jus both the same

i think they are pretty similar i think maybe the final drive is different not to sure . someone esle probably knows a lil more then me

The difference in the trannies/gearing is the years. CTR, Civic Si all have the same gearing and FD, with the CTR having a factory LSD. The 97-01 ITR(JDM) has slightly longer gearing on 2,3,4,5, with 1st being the same(I think). It also has a higher FD(4.785). I may be a little off on some of this, so search. There is a thread on B-series gearing around here somewhere.
