Whats the best sway bar F/R.
I have a 94-cx, awaiting a b18c swap, i have installed the front sway bar from a
92-95 si, with is 21-mm. i hace considered the rear bar from the integra, 14-mm.
What is the best combo for neutral handling, i could install a front integra bar at
24-mm and then increase the rear to a neuspeed 19mm.
there are a lot of options. Or should i wait on the rear bar and install the swap
and se how the car feels on the road.
NOTE-Neuspe does not sell a front bar they only recommend replacing the front
bushings with their polyurethane kits.

True but you could just leave the 21mm si in the front, and have the *** swing around with a decent sized progress 22mm rear! That is a sweet bar! Best 200 bucks i ever spent

The front bars on the si and the ex coupes are the same 21-mm,
i have thought about the rear 22mm from the itr, problem is i would have to relpace the lower control arms and the rear shocks. and purchase the mounts for the sway bar ends. and also i am concerned about the chassis where the bars
gets held to the chassis. It seems the info on the susp tech rear bar looks good,
since they provide body support.

Really? And you say that you have a what? Civic hatch huh>? Hmmm... I have a 95 ex coupe and im likin the progress group 22mm rear! I payed 200 shipped for it. Im surprised that you would have to do a shock and LCA swap! Hmmm man that sucks dude....How about comptechs duo? Any replacement needed there? I suppose the LCAs and the whole rear setup is much stronger/different on the ex/si's than on a cx h/b >>>i mean way different

As a result, if you use HONDA ITR or 99-2000 Si rear swaybars, you have to swap in a LCA with an eyelet hole to fit it. Also, the rear subframe of the 92-95's is too weak to support ITR swaybars in stock position. It requires a "Beaks Kit" to be done properly.
Progress and Suspension Techniques have properly engineered rear sways that work well, and require no "swaps" or reinforcement to work well and safely.
The CompTech combination swaybar/lower tie is an excellent combination. But, it's HUGELY expensive (near $400 last time I checked), and only available for the 96-2000 Civic, so it requires a swap in as well.
Here: http://solar.innercite.com/comptech/suspension2.html
Suspension Techniques reverse engineered that kit, and applied it to the 92-95 Civic. It's also much cheaper, and requires no swaps.

That help?

thaks guys, for the info the itr rear lower control arm is a stamped unit that the shock actaully fits into, thats why to have an itr 22.0mm rear bar you have to swap the lower control arms and the shocks, the stock arms off a 94-up integra and 92-95 civic are almost the same except all integras got the 14.0mm bar.
I have thought about just getting the rear lower arms from an integra and purchasing the 19.0mm bar from neuspeed, if any body has it please respond on
how the vehicle drives and your overall impressions.
My cx has 15-6 wheels, with a 205/50/15 tires.

Re: Whats the best sway bar F/R. (GreenBean)
I saw a guy the other day, with two sway bars up front??? He had a ST kit, on an Si and had the stock Si sway bar and then another one that went over the Catalatic Converter....is that how it is supposed to work? If you were looking from the ground it went ST sway bar, Cat, and then the stock bar in its normal space.

On installation, a nightmare. The mounting brackets that attach to the shock bolt are begging to bend or fail. The bar is wide enough that, if they ever do fail, it will strike the brake line where is it goes into the rear caliper, eliminating the brakes. It DOES NOT work with a Beaks kit and the brackets it some with are destined to bend at some point too. I did end up ising the backside of the Beaks to prevent tearout at least.
I'm going to do it over again and when I do, ITR w/ Beaks all the way. Do it right!

_______
I saw a stock tie bar that goes over the top of the Cat on 94 up Integras, and noticed that my 93 hatch had the exact size holes for it, but it didn't come stock. I know Benen makes this bar, but I picked one up from a local body shop, it fits perfect, stiffened up the front end considerably and only cost me 10 bucks! (it was in a badly hit Integra "parts car").
SUS mods - Skunk2 front/rear upper strut bars, rear lower control bar, ST front/rear sway bars, 94 Integra front lower brace, J's racing rear pillar bar installed last night - nice!

Re: Whats the best sway bar F/R. (GreenBean)
I run the skunk2 rear 22mm sway bar on my turbo hatch, and I love it. I just drilled the holes in the LCA, and mounted the bar up. I have had no problems as far as it ripping out. The car is completely neutral, until pushed to the limits (10/10th driving...i.e road race course), then some oversteer will occur. I couldnt be happier after spending 140.00 on the sway bar kit from skunk2.

Re: Whats the best sway bar F/R. (boosted hybrid)
i thought the skunk2 was only 21mm? Hmm maybe im wrong. I personally would remove the front, and get at least a 20mm for the rear!
