Just swap to TYPE R 5 lug and use the stock TYPE R suspension. You will probably be very happy and it is not way too expensive. Plus you get the cool Gunmetal wheels.

Koni and Eibach coilover set up. I have a set for sale, real cheap. If you really want a good set up try MOTON with Eibach. I saw a few of the Speedvison Cup cars at Button Willow with that set up, one type R and two Civics. It is very expensive though.

Cheap way out = Ground Control coilovers with spring rates of your choice and a set of Koni or Tokico shocks (adjustable).
For springs, you need to decide if this is a road car, road/track car or track car only. Spring rates also determine if you'll need to get the shocks revalved. If this is the case, then go with a set of revalved Konis matched to the spring weight.
And don't, I repeat, don't get a set of Neuspeed lowering springs (or something like that) and think they will work well on the track, because they won't.

why wont neuspeeds work on the track? on the race springs the spring rates are pretty high...somewhere in the 400-500lb area...

Stock Type R 5-lug?
RIP OFF
For the $2,200+ that they go for, I can think of better **** to buy.
The struts aren't that great, and the ride height will be higher with the stock Teg springs.
You could get some Konis, Groound Controls and a camber kit for the suspension.
You could also still add a FastBrakes Wilwood 4-pot 11'rotor combo up front and murder Type R equipped Civics in braking distance.
Hell, try adding a GS-R rear disc conversion and the FastBrakes 11.4inch rotor combo with O.E caliper relocators.
All that will ruin the 5-lug equipped Civic's day for the same or less money. I'll break down the prces later, but I'm off to work now
