Hi,

I hope you guys can help me.

I want to buy used civic 2000 EX but there is a problem with the transmission. The stick have a big... BIG resistance when I move it from P to R and from R to P. Otherwise it is quiet and shift the gears fast after I move the stick.

So what kind of problem this could be? And how much it can cost?

The car is 110 000km and in very good shape otherwise. It looks there is a leak from the upper block of the engine but I think this is easy to repair.

thanks a lot man! You put a lot of work finding, scanning and uploading these things. I am really really grateful.

The problem is that I am the ultimate NOOB in this area so it will be impossible for me to do that.

So my idea was if you have seen such a problem to tell me is it easy and cheap to repair or to forget about this car.
