Well it's a 1996.

Probably worth $4000 or so if it is MINT.

4k for a 14 year old car with 162k on it? sounds a bit high to me.

exactly why it's worth 4K and not 3000 like every other hatch. it's a one owner car. that makes it worth even more in my eyes. pics???

A shitload.

They're not unheard of. The color isn't the most common color out there, but it's nothing to drop my jaw over.

It came on 1996 hatches only. So think about how many '96-'00 Civics you see, then discount for the coupes and sedans and the '99-'00s at least. Midori ones aren't exactly off the map.

An original white US hatch is much less common. 2000 DX hatches only. Most of the hatches I see are '96-'98s, not '99-'00s.

I'd pay as much as I'd pay for any other color '96 Civic hatch. I'd probably steer clear of this car myself though, or at least offer less. I just don't like pea green cars. I think they're dificult to modify the exterior without doing the same tired formula too. Color schemes are just very limited by this color. It's hard to be creative without being gaudy.

i'm in the same boat. i never really liked midori, but it's a trendy color. i'm more impressed at it being a one owner car. assuming that it's in good to great condition, i'd pay slightly more for a one owner car. i'm just sentimental like that. i'll be looking for a white hatch for my next project, actually. i'm really counting on finding an original white one.

was it ever in an accident? one headlight is much foggier than the other. plus, it seems like the front bumper and hood are a different green than the driver's side.

yeah i'm pretty sure it has been, too. i'd have to repaint it after I bought it, but that's just me.

fyi, he's asking $4,995. that's a grand more than we had thought. i'd pass...

Who cares if its midori or not? The midori hatches don't come with anything special besides the color. You can use that as an argument to the seller and be like I can just buy another hatch and paint it midori if I wanted. Anyways I wouldn't judge it by color, I would judge it by miles, history and condition. So I would say about $3000.

lol at a stock d-series asking 5k and people thinking its a good deal, especially when people on here bash em1s with clean titles and nice mods priced at 6k

would rather get any other color hatch and have it painted that color.. if you wanted a light green car.

maaco charges like 600 for full paintjob.

2500-3300 for a hatch in 99-00 body style plus paint & body work = 3500-4500.. i'd much rather choose a new paint job than a "different" color car.

3K sounds good to me. But then again rust free is a big plus where I'm from. And Im not a big fan of driving around a big booger.

I think 4K is reasonable from a dealer, or $3500 from a private seller. Dealers always cost significantly more. I think that car is clean enough and rare enough to justify a markup over an average silver DX.

I wouldn't ever Maaco any car I owned and cared about.

Midori is rare, but I do see them around occasionally Now Island Coral, THERE'S a rare color. I think I've seen 2 coral Civics in my whole life.

ya...welll i bein one owner and bone stock you know it hasnt been ragged out so 162k is nothin on tht motor...and it has clean original paint...tht adds to the value

and whoever it was sayin you would buy another hatch and paint it...tht totally defeats the purpose of having a midori hatch..or a white one..or tht island coral tht other guy was talking about...cheating and painting your car tht color is like cheating on your wife if ya ask me

On one site they have $3995 and the other $4995. That's a big difference.
