Ok here's the deal, I just bought a 96 hatch with no engine, no radiator, no battery, no engine harness, no ecu, no radio, no speakers, and nothing but some spare donuts to roll on. I only paid $2,500 and the dealer that sold it to me said multiple times that it would have a clear title and not a salvaged title. When I go the title after I sent the application it came back SALAVAGED. Those ******* lied to me!!! So to make a long *** story short I was wondering what people think I should do. Is a salvaged 96 hatch worthe $2,500 with all that **** missing? Should I take them to court and try to get my money back? Or should I just roll this straight bodied 96 hatch that I have ready to hit the street soon as my b20 gets back from the machine shop?

dude, id be so pissed!! id take em to court. i got my 96 hatch with jbl 6x9s and a kenwood stereo for 2900!! They lied about the title and you're missing the most important parts. sue em!!! then give me your B20!!

If it was a verbal agreement, it's going to be hard to fight for in court. But that's pretty messed up for them to pull some sh** like that. I'd say fight them on it if you have the resources/time. Good luck man

I would go to court unless you have a lot of money to cover the extra insurance and besides...I think u got ripped on that deal man....

Court seems like the way to go...... but you probably should have known better with all those parts missing. I mean come on........... it screams SALVAGE

Court will definitely be a bitch, but a must..... they screwed you............. if you don't fight, then next week they'll do it again.

Well originally those fools told me they would give me all the neccessary things to get the car running. After I gave them my money they said I had to buy all that **** if I wanted it. I have one good resource on this whole deal. My dad. My dad called and talked to the guy and He told my dad it would not be a salvaged car. Is that good enough for court? If he comes as a whitness would that be good enough?

Hell yeah, especially since he talked to the dealership rather than just overhearing a conversation or having you tell him...... but as stated above verbal agreements are difficult no matter what. You can bring your Dad as a witness, but if the dealership is 1/2 as smart as I think they are, they will have twice as many employees all swearing to the judge that they told you it was salvaged. Good luck on fighting the good fight.

Me id just say F it, and fix it up unless I kenw I would win in court, no point to waste all that time if you know u will loose.

The fact that your dad talked to them as well, will certainly help your case. You should go for it with your dad's help, screw these guys

a insurance guy my bro knows. got it for me in my name and every thing i just to pay like 250 bucks going tocourt is going to be a hassle its not worth the time or effort just report there *** the better buisness {beuro} how ever you spell that and just put you **** together

thats why also when you ever buy any thing have it written on legal doc / about getting the tittle just ask around / i am even perty sure that you can go to the mva and give them the vin and look up the previous owner of the car
