I was such a riceboy when I got my 92 GS-R
1. Cone air filter on stock intake tube.
2. Droped rear section of my exhaust.
3. Let my friends talk me into cutting my springs.
4. Some Japanese letter sticker supposedly said HIGH SPEED, prolly said DUMBASS AMERICAN CANT READ JAPANESE.
5. Painted Interior white to contast the black, started chipping the next day.
6. Buying some 17 inch white Motegi rims cuz they looked "Sweet" with my interior.
7. Clear corners with red led APC lights.
8. Red led APC taillights.
9. Cleared the amber out of my stock bumper lights, yes more red led lights.
10. Bought a stage 4 clutch from SPEC when the stock one went out. Had to rebuild the tranny once the beast tore up my gears.
11. Rear seat removal and gut.
12. Ebay shortshifter that broke while driving.
All this in the first 3 months I owned my car, successfully dericed and learned a valuable lesson. Then the dumbest move of them all. Sold a 1992 GS-R with a tad over 100k miles with a new milano red paint job. I miss that car.

Re: (gtlaw1)
this is an extremely funny thread -- i have laughed so hard at some of these... here goes mine
1st Car - 86 Mazda 626 - 16 years old
- 5% Tint all around including the the top quarter of the windshield
- Black lights mounted to the headliner - the interior looked purple at night.. but when you wore white it looked cool....lol
- Buying Radioshack speakers and saying they sound great - I told my friends I have 6" Subs on the rear deck
- Wiring all the speakers to a pyramid amp and no name EQ in front - the car sounded like a pair of headphones turned all the way up
- Adding 6" muffler tip to a 1" stock oem exhaust pipe
6th Car - 2000 Civic Dx Hatch - present time...
- 17" Wheels
- EP3 Seats

-Drilled holes in my interior for strobe lights, but broke both b/c they were next to floor board and stuck out 2". = both broken in a day, still have holes to this day
-threw out spare for weight savings
- 2 10" Rockford subs that I ended up chucking for weight savings
-painted interior, all of it
-foggy halo's
-bright red shift boot
-almost put a giant apc decal on the hood but my parents ended up stopping me
-buying 2 sets of 17" rims before I learned my lesson
-red dual wipers
-light up washer nozels
-neon underglow, 5 neons on the inside
-hooking up a dual guage pod without fuses and lighting my car partially on fire
-neon gauges or whatever they are
-cheap racing seats that I stuck with for 3 years that got all torn up and killed my back b/c I used to drive from vt to tx
-altezzas
-dc replica header that never fit right and blew gaskets like your mom blows me
-zip tied a grill to my car, I remember going into home depot and getting laughed outta there the first time i asked
-spent 400$ for a IACV on my y7 and then ended up swapping out for a y8 mani 2 months later
-throwing away my iat sensor and using that little chip
-cutting both seat belts so it wouldn't loot stupid with my 4pt harnesses

94 s10
-dark blue cowl induction hood on a light blue truck
-light blue taillights to match the paint
-blue front turn signals (got pulled over)
-pep boys fogs in the upper grill
-side exit flowmaster exhaust with dual chevy bowtie tips. (sounded soooo good tho)
-autozone cone filter on the intake tube, stock filter in the pan, tornado in the pan (it was throttle body injection, so it had a carb style filter pan)
-stock wheels painted flat black with crome trim rings
-under dash neon
-white face guages
-white face ac panel
-duct taped paper towel rolls to stop the rear flip down seats from squeaking
only good thing i ever did with that truck was put 250 pounds of sand in the bed for traction

As for me it's not so much a mod, as it was trying to get some dents removed. A couple guys stopped me one day in a parking lot & told me they could pull the dents in my car for about $100 in just a few minutes. They told me they owned a shop & that they would do the bondo work the next day since they would be using a slide hammer. Well, they went to town on 3 different dents on the side of my car. They popped one hole in each dent and slide hammered them out nice & quick. When I went to where there shop was supposed to be to get the holes filled, I found myself completely boned...
Its been 2 or 3 years now, and I still have 3 small holes in the side of my car...

x2 wow.... same **** happened to me, i still have a hole near my passenger door...
