i am buying a wrecked SI,,and the car needs new tires,,
im just wondering what size i should b looking into

the stock size is 185/60/14

should i up it too
195 55 ??if they make that size,,,for 14's and if it wil fit??

I use BFgoodrich comp t/a in the 205/60/14 variety...plenty of meat to launch with.

i run 195/55/14 dunlop sp sport 8000's. they work great....tons of grip, lot sof fun.....but are definitely only three season tires. you could always get a good set of "summer" tires and a set of snows....then you get the best of both worlds...with no compromise. good luck.

For a really good all season tire check out the Nokian NRW (www.nokiantyres.com).
It's great in snow/slush, has excellent hydroplanning resistance and it handles quite well on dry pavement (note here, I'm talking about the H rated version).
Get the 195/60R14 H-rated on stock wheels.

Also, ckeck out their NRV, for an outstanding summer tire!

For SNOW you want narrow tall tires. 185/60 is the way to go. For dry... try the 195/55's

I'm lookin for tires for HX rims too.. thinkin about 195-60-14 yoko avs intermediate V rated. Hope these are good tires?

For winter tire try kumho R700 they look mean
