What should I fix before I sell 97 Civic LX?
Total car novice here looking for a little guidance from the experts. I'm the original owner of a 1997 4-door Civic LX that is fully paid off. I'm starting to think about selling it. It has 142K miles and I have kept up-to-date with all maintenance requirements. Overall the car is in fairly good condition, but I do need to replace the hoses, fix the fuel gage and knock out a minor dent in the driver's side door. I'm wondering, with the mileage so high, how much money I should put into this before selling the car or if it really won't matter that much because the mileage just kills it? Any thoughts? Thanks for any help provided!

obviously a car that needs less work will sell for more i would not wory about the fuel guage
what hoses are you refering too?
and deffinitly fix the dent any eye soar will automaticaly make anybody buying it try to talk to you down at least $100
just make sure you dont make the dent worse trying to pop it out... i would go to a body shop and explain to them you are selling the car and see if there is someone there that would pop the dent out off the clock for a few bucks
