Supposedly CTR "rally type" racing doors, made to be light weight, lol. Looks like some DX doors with the cloth painted/dyed...beside having wind up windows, do you see anything else that would make these soooo light?!?!

yea those look like such a rip off. he has quite a bit of complaints on his feedback. like you said, probably just dx panels reclothed in red. i mean, how much lighter can the panels be anyway. they probably only weigh in at a couple pounds each.

anyone else notice the folding mirrors? i think they are ctr...but **** that sucks...roll up urself windows...that's why i got the ek. i'm lazy.

Even with the folding mirrors, i'd bet it was actually from a canadian dx or something of that nature, even a base model from japan, Rally type my *** though. I'd be willing to bet there isnt enough demand in japan for a rally version of the CTR. I do know you can order a stripped down version, but i believe that you have to provide paperwork that it is for track use, etc...

they are real smart guys... how many usdm ek door panels have you seen that are black? none, because there aren't any. they have ek9's without power windows, they are the lightweight racer version.
