What is the most you would pay for a 96-98 Civic DX Hatch?

What is the most I should look to pay for one of these? (Looking for a new project)

No more than $7000. With the high price of hondas nowadays it might not be possible

in 1998 i paid 13,800 tax and licensing incl. (brand new in the box.)

my brother is selling his 97hatch, manual transmission, silver color; neuspeed sport springs w/ tokico blue, 99-00 front conversion flawless..i think he would let it go for $6500...give me a holla if you're interested--we can work something out.
