what kinda rear disc setup on my 97 civic??
ok as people probably already know i bought a really funky smorgesborg full of random parts of a civic
first its a ex shell with non vtec motor
then i find out its a gsr ecu with the non vtec motor
now...
...does those year civics come with rear discs brakes? because mine does and if its a swap what are tell tale signs that would point me in the direction of which car they came off of
this sucks not knowing what your own car is

Yep, '92 - '95 civic EX/Si '94 - '01 integra and '99 - '00 civic si are all supposed to be the same. I'm quite sure '88 - '91 civic EX and '90 - '93 integra are the same also. so just pick one when ordering, my cars like that too '94 civic sedan, with rear disc swap off a '93 sedan, D15B vtec engine that i have to buy VX and Si parts for, automatic swapped out for a 5 speed, if anyone ever runs the vin they're gonna be confused as hell.

Yep, mind you theres a ton of other things that don't match the vin either, engine, the fact that i have rear discs, guage cluster with tach when there shouldn't be, power mirrors etc.

They don't, i just meant that according to the vin i should have rear drums, not discs.

I'm rolling on a parts bin as well, Japanese Integra motor, which confuses the **** out of the idiots at the dealership since the engine code is only B18C instead of B18C1 or B18C5, Teggy AC compressor connected to Civic AC condensor and lines (custom modified to work), Civic SI brake lines and prop valve, Integra RS rear discs, GSR leathers, D-series shifter (yes it fits!), and I dont even know where my gauge cluster is from (its white and doesn't illuminate from the rear).

i wanna go back and slap the guy in the face
