what i need for motor swap
ok my friend has a 96-00 civic hatch with a d16y8, her motor is messing up. i amdoing some R&D, on a swap. She found a motor but it is a d16z6 considering iti is OBD1 is is hard to do that swap, or is it worth it.

Putting an older engine in a newer car is illegal in most or all states.
That said, try looking more I'm sure you'll find another y8...

search about million threads for this, with that said you cant find a y8!! they are all over, go to junk yard or search online

theres a 96 Ex(y8) with rear end damage for 275 motors perfect!!
there are alot of civic ou there lke this, theft recovered what,not just search for site and junk yards

i think the jdm d15b owns the d series.
