Hydro Trannys are hydrolic fluid to help you shift where cable trannys a manual one and your arm is what provides shifting force. What kind of car do you have? I belive 92 and up honda's all have hydro trannies, but I could be wrong.

Yes basically trannies are divded into two categories when it come to D and B sereis trannies:
Cable - uses a cable to pull a clutch actuator arm.
Found on 1988-1991 Civics and 1990-1993 Integras and JDM "first=gen" B16A swaps
Hydro - Uses a hydrolics system like your brakes to push a clutch fork to actuate the clutch. Uses a master cylinder and slave cylinder and hard and soft lines and it holds fluid just like a braking system does.
Found on 1992-2003 Civics and 1994-2001 Integras USDM or JDM.
Why are you asking? Looking for a B16A swap and seeing really cheap "cable tranny" versions perhaps?
If it's for your 1993 Civic, then do yourself a favor and just buy the more expensive "Second gen" swap and save yourself some headaches of the cable tranny ****.

that's odd, because all of the H22a tranies should already be a hydro-actuated clutch with cable-type shifter instead of the rod-type of B and D series.
What site is this on? Are you sure it didn't say "LSD add $150.00" or something elseT
