dang, thats what I was thinking, BUT.....I have the opportunity to buy a jdm b16a with LSD axles, ecu and linkeage for $2000, and shipping is free cuz its in town, and I know it runs strong. I still need mounts, but I heard that the stock mounts in a 96-00 will bolt up to a b series.
So if I waited a similar swap from hmotorsonline, where this swap came from would cost me $2250 for the motor, $300 for the lsd upgrade, and $300 to ship it.
So if I went with it now from my friend, i'd be saving $850. So i'm not sure if i can pass that up or not, if I know I'm eventually going to need a b series over the stock d16y7 dx motor.
