what engine is in this
ok so this car is for sale on craigslist and the owner claims that it is a b16b with a nonvtec head but currect me if im wrong but from what i can see based on the valve cover the only thing it could really be is a dseries 1.5 is this correct?

this is a 95 del sol. I am in no hurry to sell, so please no low-ball offers. its a great daily driver, i drive it every day. i get about 22 ciy 30-35 highway and im not an easy driver. its alltogether solid, it just neds a paint job and turbo tune to make it race worthy. the previous owner did well at autocross at gateway before it closed and sold it when it closed. I will conider any reasonable offer or trade. im really looking for an MR2 or v6 fiero, those are just what i like but i am glad to conider anything. i am firm at 3500 tho so please again no lowball offers. text at 618 660 9200 or if no immediate response feel free to call. emails probably wont be answered. if you need any more pics ill be happy to send/ email them

Its a highly tuned race car but needs a turbo tune....WTF... That guy is dumb... I have never seen a dash like it in another Delsol.... looks retarded with that ebay turbo kit.. I hate when kids think just cause it honda means its worth its weight in gold... I wouldnt pay 1500 bucks for that car!
I bet it dosent have an LSD I would consider that a shell... What do you think he is using for a tune?

sounds like the guy doesnt know what he is talking about, and hopes he finds someone who doesnt know anything about hondas to dump this on! 3000 for exhaust alone? yeah right! would be willing to bet there is no LSD! guy is trippin!

clearly he bought it like that and has no clue whats in it, or he just slapped an ebay turbo on it and is trying to talk it up to being fully built and done right.. either way i wouldnt go near this thing unless hes putting a lot of cash on top.. and you plan on redoing it yourself anyway

well i went and looked at the car for the hell of it today and really someone has put some decent money atleast in the suspention it has koni coilovers in all 4 corners, aftermarket sway and strut bars. and i now know that everything was done before he got it hes going to contact the guy he got it from and see if he cant get paper work on stuff done to the engine and turbo setup. but we will see if it was done right and he has paperwork to prove it i might still get it. i just couldnt imagine putting koni's on then slapping on a ebay turbo
