Default What else to replace when installing new tranny & axles?

I'm going to be putting in a no-grind D16Z6 tranny and some Autozone axles in my car in a couple of weeks. What else should I be replacing when I do this install?

So far I've thought of:

- tranny fluid (duh )
- axle seals
- clutch fluid (for when I bleed the clutch?)

Anything else? I hate trannies.

unless you are strapped for cash might as well do a clutch while you are in there.

Make sure the input shaft is smooth clean and rust free ( the shaft on which the clutch slides on). Do not grease the shaft however, as it will get all over your clutch and cause slippage. Use a wire brush etc if there is any rust or so on the input shaft.

i recommend using Honda Manual Tranny oil, or even better GM Synchromesh (you should see the threads of great comments of this stuff). That's all I can think of best of luck with the replacement man!

I already put in an ACT HDSS 2 summers ago. This time I need to replace my tranny, as it's going bad. My clutch is still good.

you shoudlnt need to bleed the cluch unless you want to. you can just unbolt it, and let the slave hang.
