I thought they only made the B16A3 del-sol's in 94-95. I don't know if I've seen a B16A OBD2A USDM ECU. You can get one with that style plug JDM but it won't be OBD2. I'd just get a P28.

it does i have done it. or atleast i remember doing it.
in a pinch. it has a little stumble where the butterflies should open not being there on a b16. i have put jdm type r ecu's on b16's.
but looking at the original post, sorry head is up my ***. tired, otheree is apparently an obd2 p30 as well like the p72.

Well obviously it does. I mean just about any Honda ECU will run just about any Honda motor. Doesn't mean it's going to do it well.
Original Poster. If I were you I would looke into getting a chipped P28 and adapter harness. If you are worried about smog then I guess find a P2T ecu and obd2b --> obd2a conversion harness. I have a P2T (99-00) si ecu here. Like I said though I don't believe 96-97 del sol's saw the B16A3.

Actually, 96-97 del sol VTEC(b16a3) were made. They came with an obd2 P30 ecu. They are VERY rare/expensive....good luck
