Default what do you think is wrong

im driving right i juss put a new altenator in btw it has been about a week since

the new altenator this car is daily driven a lot ok so im driving down to the meets

and all the sudden my stereo keeps cuttin off and on im like wtf n then all the

sudden my tach starts to **** up so i relize sumthing is up so i bust a move n turn

around i start to head home about 4 miles later the lights are dimming really bad

****!! so i get all the way to my exit also if i were to change lanes and use my

blinker my car would sputter like it was out of gas for a bout a second then be fine

after i turned it off ... so i then pull off the exit n there we go i can hear about only

2 cylinders going like the injectors werent getting any power then it sounded like

only one injector was working i then let it coast down the street off to the side of

the road and called a tow truck someone help me i have school soon its my only

ride


.......... my car is a 2000 civic Si with the b16a2 with i-h-e i recently just put a new

altenator in. If you guys could give me an idea of whats going on ide highly

appreciate it thanks.

alternator again...se how many volts it charges...where did you buy the alternator btw

well just check how many volts you are charging...btw how many amps do 200 si's require?

yeah man i m preety sure its your alternator...but wut kinda high output alternator is 90 amps...the high outputs i have seen are like 150amps but yeah especially if you have some sound stuff going you are gonna need some more amps...

Could be a few things
Loose alternator belt. makes sure u get that SOB on there tight
Your altenator ground could be loose.
Poor batter connectors

alt... check the volts, if any and go from there....

Alternator belt is the most likely candidate, although I wouldn't discount faulty installation completely. Recheck everything, especially the ground connection(s) and, if they're small and weak looking, don't be afraid to ground the alternator more than once.
