What do you guys think of this car? (possibly buying it)
Here is a copy/paste of the guys ad, thinking about getting the car but can't decide if it's worth it or not. He's asking around 4k~ I'm meeting up with him tomorrow to check it out. Here are a few pics of it he sent me.
"1993 honda civic hb vx (only 2000 lbs with a gsr in it) has a salvage title.
car is champ white (type R white)
car has projector head lights with angle eyes
car has visions (jdm corners)
car has semi new struts
car has coilovers (not sure what brand)
car has a panasonic cd player
car has a cheap duck bill
car has a lip kit
the interor is blue but is not as bad as you think
car has skunk2 exhaust
THE GOOD STUFF
1996 gsr head

*still has the V.I.N. plate on it*
DC sports 4-2-1 header

Short shifter

Damn.. check out the VIN see if its legit, get a mechanic to see if the swap is done well, looks like a good find for 4g's to me

Not bad. Bring a Firend who knows a bit about Honda's with you. Sometimes i find it that when you look at something sombody also lookin at the same thing will find something different. He might spot some things you might now.

it might be cheap because of the salvage title,..and in the second pic of the car,..looks like the rear quarter panel right on top of the tire looks kinda fucked up

Seems like a good deal.
but, it is also obvious that the salvage title is due to an accident. I would still buy it and then later on get a better shell and swap over all the good pieces.

haha thats funny this car is my brother old car and he traded the kid whos sellin it for a blazer..lol its a good car and runs strong..beleive me and it ran good when he had it...id get it if i were you, we did teh swap in our shop and we did it right..

your car has more **** done to it then mine when i bought it. all mine had was an ls with gsr tranny and i bought it for 4700. seems like you're getting the better deal.

your car has more **** done to it then mine when i bought it. mine was black 94 si with ls motor and gsr tranny and i bought it for 4700. seems like you're getting the better deal.
