B18c1 that will fit your budget with enough left over to handle unexpected parts

If the 3000 includes installing the motor then dont expect to get a b18c1 those are like 3300 (from HMO) with everthing you need then you have to pay to install it(or do it yourself) then there will always be stupid **** you need like gaskets belts other stuff. So always prepare for extra stuff

thats what im aiming for, im tryna holla at a jdm gsr. i mean i can come up with like another couple hundred no problem. i just want to know what is the best way to go, like hybrids or any other motors. I was planning to go gsr regardless, but i want to know if any one can persuade me to go another route.

well it depends on what you wanna do with the car. Do you want it to be a NA dohickey or FI badass. if you are going NA then go with the gsr. If you plan on going FI anytime save a grand or so and get the B18B, they are more boost friendly.
