You're worried about scratching your flat black urethane lip?
You'd rather scratch a $350 piece of carbon fiber than a $120 plastic lip?

Don't hit curbs.
If you're really that worried, get some of that clear plastic stuff they put on the front bumpers and headlights. Only... on a flat black lip it'd make it look shiny. Plus, when you do hit something it will make a bit white gash in the plastic film.
Keeping painted parts waxed will help road debris be less likely to put little scratches in the clearcoat.

Raise your car up, remove the lip, change how you come into the driveway or change the driveway.
Being low has it's downsides. Damage to lips, front bumpers, oil pans, headers, exhausts, and not to mention alignments get a little scarier too.

go more up at an angle... maybe close to parallel with the sidewalk... do the same thing backing out of ur driveway. ur pretty much doing a 90 degree angle when you go up/down from your driveway/sidewalk.
