I dont think I would go out and replace the starter...
Maybe try banging on it to see if stuck...
Also does everything funtion like your gettin alot of juice?

Well, you got new connectors, but the best connectors in the world aren't gonna help you if your battery is going to **** on you. Sounds like it doesn't have enough juice to crank the starter. My money is on bad battery.

Nothing happens when I try to jump start it. I get the same noise. I have a stinger yellow top battery that is about 6 months old but it holds a 13.7 volts constant. Tried another batter and I got the same result although Im not sure if it was charged.

Sounds stupid but it does work in some cases. Don't pound the **** out of it...just hit it normal...if that makes any sense. Did you try to get the starter to work by directly jumping it from the battery?

Re: (GTlvr82)
yah try hitting the starter a few times .. try like 5 or 6 times see if it turns over if it does .. i would go out and buy a new starter. instead of worrying about it getting stuck anymore.. but thats just my 2 cents

As stated above, you might try tapping on the starter while someone cranks it. If it does in fact start for you, you don't need to purchase a new one in most cases, the main contact just need to be replaced. Only cost you about 5 bucks. I had mine replaced, when I was having the same problem you are, and it's been good ever since. Again, that's if it's your starter, and not something else.

how about you start with a voltmeter first? instead of listening to these guys say what they think the problem is.. keyword: think. not know. that is just throwing away money when you try to problem solve like that.
jeez, its not rocket science.

run 12V straight down to the starter and see what happens. It SHOULD turn over. If not you have a weak motor in there and you have to replace it.
If it does turn over you have a problem in your starter circuit. Don't kow about the honda ignition system, but in older domestics they used to have a starter solenoid that sometimes got stuck. I'm thinking hondas probably have a relay. It's still a mechanical part that can go bad. I'd start there first and work my way down to other parts. Loose connections and things like that.

exactly, drive it to the shop as soon as it starts. you arent going to be able to hit your solenoid with a hammer forever.
