What could I do with 15Gs to build up a hatch that'll be most fun in every situation?

What could I do with 15Gs to build up a hatch that'll be most fun in every situation?
I am thinking of this for the summer wouldn't be able to do it tell then but, I really want something all wheel drive for the traction capabilities but think I might have more fun buildin up a 92 civic hatch to do 12s in the quarter, handle and brake sick with a real clean look(and reliabilty, I would like this to be my daily driver).
So what would you do with 15 grand if you too wanted try to meet the same criteria.
Also could ya give HP estimates if ya have any clue, thanks in advance for your ideas.

Is this purely hypothetical or is there a remote possibility that you could actually get your hands on $15k?

I would say a JDM H22A in a civic hatch would be cool.........4 grand for the car at the most then you would spend about 6000 to 8000 on install with custom axles, suspension all tricked out etc(everything you would need)..........then you could use the extra 3000 to 5000 to build up the internals of the H motor and turbocharge it puttin you at about 240 or more horses.......but thats my choice and thats what ill be doin..........oh yeah you will be able to pretty easily reach 12's and low 13's with the setup

Well dont do what I did....I had 10K and fucked everything all up, now all I have to show for it is a stock hatch with a b18c motor in it that eats more oil than gas I guess we learn from our mistakes though....
Spend your money WISELY...buy the car, and when you get the motor, have it built BEFORE you drop it in...dont do what I did and end up having tons of stuff go wrong at the worst times....it ends up costing $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I would get a cheap *** hatch, buy a b18c and have it sleeved and bored to 85mm and get some 12:1 pistons, new rods, knife edged crank, oil pump, water pump, new seals etc, so its basically a new motor, and of course buy a quaife lsd for the tranny, new clutch/flywheel and have it all balanced. Buy a hondata for sure for tuning and some injectors and a fpr. Take care of the cooling with a new radiator and get some gauges to monitor the engine. With the rest, buy some rotas in your style of choice (cheap and nice quality) good tires, GC's and koni yellows, sway bars and all that jazz. You could top it off with some bolt ons, and a nice system that will bump like no tomorrow. You'd have handling, its a hatch so it looks good already, you'd have sound, and speed!
If only I could go back in time...

no 15 grand by summer would not be hypothetical...question with the H22 would it still be able to handle great? I know It could make great horsepower but wouldn't the weight of it take away from the handling? I like Redman223's thoughts on this with the b18c.
would you guys recomend a b18c turbo build up over NA or no? oh and also what about a b16 turbo build up to save money, or does this setup lack the torque.

damn 15k is almost enough to get a chassis built to fit hatch body and eclipse/talon engine/drivetrain.
Now THAT would be nasty. too much custom stuff for 15k unless you can do ALOT of the work.
I'd go for a talon though get a 1990-1994 talon tsi and just order what ever you can afford from buschur... they make unbelievable stuff for that car... That's a much better car to buy to dump a lot of money into because you can get them for a dime a dozen (almost literally) and there is an UNGODLY amount of stuff you can do to them. I would definately consider getting a talon instead of a civic. Give it SERIOUS thought they are one of the most impressive cars I've ever been in.
and with 15k you could have ANYTHING you wanted out of it. show go strip street luxury whatever... the possiblities for a car when you buy it for 1500-3000 are a LOT better and you get SO MUCH MORE then you EVER get with ANY honda car. Talon's are the ****. but that' my opinion.
Other wise I'd go with a b18 or 20 built to the hilt with 20lbs or so of boost.... see if the endyne blower is available yet... if so that's your best bet. they make type-Rtarded stuff.
Have fun you lucky (or deserving) bastard (either way I'm friggin green jealous right now)

I would probally use that 15 grand as a down payment on a newer car...I'd go for a down payment on an Integra Type R or something like that...
Those cars must be so fun to have as a daily driver/Auto X etc....
Thats just me though....If I was building a civic:
5th Gen CX hatch, H22 TYPE S motor (220 HP right there)
and I would just build for boost on that platform...
good luck

they had awd civics here too... they just sucked ***. as do the foreign one's ALL of the drivetrain is TOTALLY worthless. if you had more than 175 hp going to them they'd probobly snap like twigs.

In Japan they had a few AWD civics!!!!!! It came in a 4-door, I saw it on the honda of japan website. They even had carburetors on a few models!

but, i'd get a cx for about 4k
h22 w/ custom axles-with install and parts 4k
nice coilover suspension about 1k, say 500 for bars, etc.
nice forged wheels w/ tires about 1.5k
fastbrakes wilwood brake kit w/ gsr rear disc assembly, don't quote me on price but i'd guess 1500
now you got 2.5k to build the motor and think about turbo depending on which way you want to go

I have about $13,000.00 in my car.
It did 13.3 last time at the strip with shitty 60 footers.
It handles awesome.
It brakes awesome.
It looks really clean too.
I'd show you pics, but the damn host server is down and has been down for quite some time.
Click the link in my signature to see the specs on the car minus the pics.
