What cord do I need to get Videos on to my computer?
I have a sony camcorder (not digital) and was wondering how I get videos onto my computer like you guys do. I have a program already that makes videos, but just need to know how to transfer them from camcorder to computer. Thanks in advance.

You need a TV card that accepts inputs. You then plug your camcorder into your PC like you do witht the VCR. You then hit the record button on the computer and play your video.

You will be able to connect a camcorder to a PC with USB or S-video cables, assuming you have the right hardware. There are usb video capture adapters for USB (Which aren't very good due to the relatively low bandwidth of USB, but if that's your only option due to lack of PCI slots or because you just don't want to open up your computer, ATi makes one), and there are video capture cards. If you're lucky, maybe your computer came with a video card with S-video in, but that's unlikely. Pick up an ATi TV Wonder PCI card (Preferably not the VE) and use that.
